Mahalia – Roadside (Feat. AJ Tracey)

 

 

Mahalia is joined by the UK’s finest AJ Tracey for their dynamic break up track ‘ Roadside’. Adorned with locs, Mahalia and her girls get revenge on a cheating guy by tying him up by a food truck. The track has a latin flair and we see Mahalia show off her dancing skills, whilst smashing a guys car. The song is close to home for R&B singer Mahalia as the firery track was inspired by the singers own break up.

 

IAMDDB – JGL

IAMDBB is back with a more island sound for her new track ‘JGL’. Inspired by the divine feminity of Egyptian Goddess ISIS. IAMDBB translates ancient Egyptian asthetics with modern sexual energy to capture the track ‘JGL.’ For IAMDBB JGL is a bad b anthem for women whose worth is not determined by a man.

 

Miraa May – Go Girl ft. RAYE

Whilst we are all waiting for Miraa May’s highly anticipated album which is currently ‘rendering 83%’. Miraa May has dropped a track with pop artist Raye titled ‘Go Girl’  to whet our appetite. Giving the same bad b best friend vibes as ‘Best Friend’ by Saweetie and Dojo Cat.  The visuals showcase Raye and Miraa May having the ultimate girl party. In the video we see the duo having fun at the pool, a tea party and a sleep over. If you are into carefree girly vibes this song is the one for you.

 

Little Simz – Point And Kill feat. Obongjayar

UK Rapper Little Simz is taking us to the motherland with her track ‘Point and Kill’Feat. Obongjayar, off of her new album ‘Sometimes I might be an Introvert’. Shot in Lagos Nigeria, the jazzy, Africa infused track showcases a mix of powerful political images, fashion statements and raw gritty images. The track and visuals are a synergy of both the old skool and new skool. As Little Simz pays tribute to her Nigerian roots.

 

Jaz Karis – Motions (Official Music Video)

South London singer/songwriter Jaz Karis is back with her song ‘Motions’. The sultry song showcases the artist in a dim lit club. The intoxicating nature of the track matches the visuals as we follow the singer through blurry visuals find her lover.

 

Tamera – Strong For Me (Official Video)

Tamera from X-factor who stunned us all with her jaw dropping vocals on the show years ago.  Is back with a new sound. Her latest track ‘Strong for me’  showcases Tamera’s vulnerability as she exposes the uncomfortable parts of a relationship. Through stunning visuals that switch between the lighter and darker sides of Tamera’s inner dialogue. The listener is left feeling the frustration, burn out and fragility the singer feels in her relationship.
