Polo Bar Review

Polo 24-hour Bar

Address: 176 Bishopsgate, EC2M 4NQ
Tw: @Polo24HourBar

Cuisine: British

Seated in what felt like a private booth at the front of the restaurant with a view of Liverpool Street Station, we studied their extensive menu. We must have changed our mind about 10 times before making our order. With 6 different breakfasts (served all day), a variation of sandwiches and burgers and not to mention British classics like fish and chips, the choice seemed endless.

I settled on the Polobar steak supreme burger with sweet potato chips, whilst my guest went for a traditional breakfast.

The burger was juicy and succulent. I had a green detox to wash it down, that was pleasant. My guest enjoyed their pot of tea alongside their breakfast.

Located directly opposite Liverpool Street station just a stone’s throw away, this 24-hour eatery is ideal for a quick bite to eat before you catch that train or if hunger strikes. If you’re lucky enough to sit at the front of the restaurant, you’ll get a decent view of this marvellous station.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a restaurant open around the clock in London, but Polo Bar is unique in this sense, being one of the handful of restaurants in London advertised as being open 24-hours.

To add to this, the menu is varied and the decor is nostalgic and British to the core with a few added quirks.

Ideal for: Breakfast in the middle of the night, a spot of Afternoon Tea or a taste of Britain!

Overall Rating ★★★1/2
