Beauty Products You Need For A Long Haul Flight

Every traveller knows long haul flights leave you feeling dehydrated, tired and honestly, pretty awful. Here are a few go-to products to help you survive long those journeys.

Makeup wipes are essential. Yes, I know they’re not great for your skin but they’re compact and easy to carry in your luggage for a quick clean up.

My favourite wipes are Simple Cleansing Wipes (£2.15 from Superdrug). They’re extremely refreshing and soft on dehydrated skin which you’ll be suffering from after hours in a confined cabin.

My lips are always the first thing to dry out when I’m dehydrated and tired. I always apply layer upon layer of lip balm when I’m on flights to help me feel a little bit more revitalised.

I especially love Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm (£4). It smells amazing, which will make a nice change compared to stale aeroplane food.

Moisturiser is a necessity to prevent puffy eyes and dark circles which are bound to appear on long haul flights.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (£26) is a miracle worker. It’s an intensive moisturiser which leaves your skin with a healthy glow and a firmer appearance.

I always take a primer on a flight to prevent me looking like a member of The Walking Dead cast when I eventually get off the plane.

I love Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating primer (£28) to replenish my dry skin. It also works as a great base for makeup if you want a smooth finish.

Face mist isn’t something I use in my daily skincare routine but I couldn’t live without it on a long journey.

Bodyshop Vitamin E Hydrating Face Mist is the best £10 that I’ve ever spent. It refreshes and hydrates skin for an instant ‘pick me up’. It is made with rosewater and can also be used to set makeup.
