Pink who brought a killer set. Gearing up for the release of her new album she definitely her set which has been her first major performance since her last album and the birth of her second child. Their is no doubting she disappointed the crowd brining her usual Pink acrobatics.
Last weekend saw thousands gather in Hyland Park and Weston Park to celebrate music from far and wide. The crowds were treating to a weekend of sunshine, music, food and good vibes.
The festival kicked off on Friday and spread across the three days with headliners Pink and Jay-Z shutting the crowds down in both parks. Along with a variety of other artists, there was nothing short of great music this weekend.
With a line-up guaranteed to give everybody a good time the festival brought names such as, Ellie Goulding, Jess Glyn, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit, Annie Marie, M.O, Raye, Dizze Rascal, Nadia Rose, Stormzy and many other artists.
Jay-Z who came out for his only European show of 2017 following the release of his newest album 4:44. The rapper certainly brought out the numbers killing the crowd. Among his latest tracks from his album he came through with some of his classics and even ended his set on Sunday night with a tribute to Linkin Park member Chester Benningington with a Numb/Encore rendition.
Other stand out perfumers for me included Stormzy who as usual killed and came to represent Grime in the best way possible. As well as, Emeli Sande and newcomer Mabel.
From what it seems. This year’s V Festival certainly did not disappoint. Certainly, in the last couple of years V Festival has been one of the festival to add to the bucket list so best believe that along with Glastonbury we I find ourselves there one day.
