The Travel Guide : Liverpool’s Best Rooftop Venues

Advertisements

As we plough our way through Spring and into Summer, we look forward to the warmer months ahead, promising longer days, post-work drinks, and of course, plenty of rooftop socialising. We have put together a list of the best rooftop venues in Liverpool, if any of you are planning a trip outside of London for a different city’s scenery.

Carpathia Champagne Bar & Restaurant at 30 James Street

Celebrated for being Liverpool’s first rooftop venue, Carpathia is situated on the 7th floor of award-winning hotel, 30 James Street. Steeped in history, the hotel was once the headquarters for the White Star Line shipping company, best known for building some of the most famous vessels in the world, including the RMS Titanic.

Named after the ship which rescued the RMS Titanic survivors, Carpathia offers guests a beautiful dining space with an exceptional food offering. With two rooftop balconies on either side of the restaurant, diners can enjoy breath-taking panoramic views of the city’s docklands and Liverpool’s beautiful World Heritage Site. Carpathia is the perfect place to sip on a glass of chilled champagne, or enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, lunch or dinner, whilst overlooking some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Garden of Eden at The Shankly

Situated above the stunning Shankly Hotel, the Garden of Eden is a beautiful spacious rooftop, offering incredible views of the city and a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for larger groups, the rooftop can accommodate parties of all sizes, and welcomes both guests from the hotel, and members of the public; an ideal spot for soaking up the sun throughout the week and on the weekends.
