North London, spoken word poet, Mina West is looking for women of all races, ages and backgrounds to join her in a campaign to promote women leaving their legacy #MyLegacy.
The official hashtag will be plastered on social media to encourage women to think about leaving their mark on the world.
The #MyLegacy campaign is in celebration of the release of Mina West’s ‘Legacy’ spoken word video dropping on International Woman’s Day – 8th March. ‘Legacy’ will be the leading track and visuals from her debut Ep ‘Pieces of Me’, releasing in April.
‘Pieces of Me’ will be the first time, female poet, Mina West has released a body of work. Mina has accumulated quite a fan base, with many viewers/listeners of her work, demanding more from the lyricist. Her previous video releases ‘The Crown’ and ‘Let’s Be Honest’ are some of her listeners favourite pieces and the six track EP, has a similar tone of content. The tracks give a deeper insight into the world of Mina, touching on subjects such as relationships, family, spirituality and taking you through all of the emotional rollercoaster of self discovery and faith.
The ‘Legacy’ spoken word video will be filmed on Saturday 10th February, from 1pm-5pm, in a film studio, Barking, London.
