Finding the best brow kit can be seemingly impossible with the vast variety of brands claiming to produce the ‘perfect brows’. From dipbrows to liquid kits it’s difficult to find a product that will give you natural looking eyebrows with a good shape.
I’ve tried so many different types of brow kits as my fair eyebrows are barely visible to the naked eye! So-Me is a powder kit with two shades to define and highlight your eyebrows, compacted into a small case with a built-in mirror. The kit comes in 3 shades (Mocha, Caramel and Espresso). I used ‘Caramel’ which is a light-medium brown shade.
Having never used a powder kit before I didn’t know what to expect. The powder creates a softer look, which lasts longer throughout the day whereas dipbrow products and liquids tend to clump after a few hours. The highlighter in the kit is perfectly pigmented it accentuates the eyebrow without being too shiny.
The So-Me kit also comes with 3 stencils (Sublime, Chic and Sexy), which help to provide an easy application, these stencils are a God send, as brows can be a complete nightmare at times!
I also used the spooley brush from the So-Me range, which was so good at blending my brows, creating a natural and fleek look. I used it to prep my eyebrows, brushing them to the correct shape, and also afterwards to neaten them.
So-Me Brow Kit and Spooley brush can be purchased from Sainsbury’s and Superdrug stores, also on their website www.so-me.me. The brow kit comes at a retail price of £24 and the spooley brush at £6.95, which is really affordable!
