To start off our all-round delicious meal, I went for the Hare and pistachio terrine with sweet fig chutney. Sweet mixed with savoury, creating a fascinating palatable dish. Thoroughly enjoyed and excited the tastebuds for the next course.
For my main I chose the tuna steak (cooked medium) wrapped in vine, leeks and olives accompanied by risotto Bianco and a side of buttered rainbow carrots and lavender flowers. The tuna was very appetizing, a definite recommendation from me, however the risotto was a little bland and needed a touch more salt or flavouring.
Each course came with a pairing of wine and I was pleased with each one I was presented with.
The food, decor and ambience of Roma was brilliant. Although it was an extremely quiet evening for them, it didn’t take away from the overall experience provided to us.
I could not fault the service and the wine pairing to our meals was perfect, especially since I prefer red wine and that’s all I was given. The food presentation was also faultless.
