Tombo’s Hello Kitty Pop up

Tombo

Address:  4 Windmill St, Fitzrovia, W1T
tombopoke.com
Cuisine: Japanese

FOOD:

Until 22nd October, Hello Kitty will be taking over Tombo, Fitztrovia, with a special Hello Kitty menu featuring poké, drinks and desserts. There’s also Hello Kitty merchandise from posters to tote bags.

I’ve been to Tombo a couple of times and normally get the salmon avo lux, which by the way is the truth, but of course with there being a Hello Kitty pop up, I got the Hello Kity poké with salmon. It came with a little Hello Kitty sauce pot for the soya sauce, which I got to keep. The creativity and presentation of this dish was marvellous. It didn’t taste half bad either, but my favourite still has to be salmon avo lux.

To finish, I had a Hello Kitty matcha berry sundae. Tombo was the first place I ever tried matcha soft serve and let me tell you, I have been coming back for it ever since.

OVERALL:

The pop up has been in high demand since opening and as a result it has been extended to 22nd October. So if you’re a fan of Hello Kitty, want to try out this newish concept that is poké or just looking for a unique dining experience, head there to experience it for yourself. It’s fun and quirky and not to be missed out on.

If you do miss the boat, head there anyway and try the salmon avo lux, trust me – it’s amazing.

Ideal for: Lunch
