Where To Eat This Pancake Day

Who doesn’t love Pancake Day? A day to indulge in the fluffy goodness topped with lemon, maple syrup or nutella just to name a few. If you don’t fancy making your own this year, we have rounded up our top picks for you to head down to and celebrate at.

Got a train to catch but still want your pancake fill? Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner pop into Drake & Morgan at King’s Cross to enjoy buttermilk blueberry pancakes topped with smoked back bacon and drizzled with maple syrup.

Stacks of pancakes + one of London’s top chefs = the most luxurious Pancake Day ever. Head to Ormer Mayfair to enjoy a grown-up layered dessert created by renowned chef Shaun Rankin with chocolate praline spread, cream cheese, puffed wild rice, vanilla Jersey Chantilly cream, raspberries and vanilla rum sauce.

Blend up your pancake day celebrations with a freak shake to rival all freak shakes at Burdock – the new all day café, restaurant and bar in the heart of the City. Into the blender will go New York cheesecake, cookie dough, berries and pancake mix for a thick, indulgent shake that’s sure to have you ditching the frying pan in no time. Exclusively available on Shrove Tuesday for £6.

Newly opened Greenwood is getting into the spirit with stacked American-style pancakes, adorned with gooey chocolate chip cookies, cookie dough ice cream, chocolate sauce, peanuts and honeycomb.  Exclusively available on Shrove Tuesday for £7.

Celebrate Shrove Tuesday with a relaxing breakfast at Down Hall Country House hotel. Talented head chef, Matthew Hill, will be whipping up his famous Buttermilk Blueberry Pancakes drizzled in maple syrup and topped with fresh blueberries.
