This feels like a first date. I’ve spent ages getting ready for this, I’ve got butterflies in my stomach and I’m hoping things go well.
But let me introduce myself, I’m Sophie Dishman and I’m not a love or relationship expert but I’ve had my fair share of heartbreaks and roses.
Anyway, I’ll tell you about this column even though I don’t know where to begin. What would you like to know?
What’s Life Lessons of a Millennial going to be about?
Well, I’ll be sharing news from the love and relationships world as well as opinion pieces.
I don’t really like to kiss and tell on a first date, but you’re an exception to the rule (lucky you!) so I’ll tell some of the topics you can expect in the next few weeks.
Of course we’ll be covering first date do’s and don’ts, the secrets of letting go featuring a technique that I use – it’s called the Beer Effect – and being proud of being “frigid.”
As a side note I’ll also be asking you guys whether you can really be friends with an ex (in my opinion the answer’s yes).
It’s not all about being in a partnership though, I’ll also be delving into self love, because that’s important too!
I might even throw in some of my experiences and a touch of the little things I’ve learnt over the years (that makes me sound older than I really am).
Sound good? Or maybe I’ve talked too much and my nerves are getting the better of me.
I also want some input from you on what you want to see on Life Lessons of a Millennial.
It takes two to tango after all, so let me know!
I know this dates been short and sweet, but hopefully you like me enough to take me on a second date.
Until next time (I hope)
