Born to a Cuban mother and Jamaican father, highly sought after songwriter Kamille, who has penned hits for the likes of Little Mix (Shout out to my ex, Black Magic) is now embarking into a career as a solo artist. The rising star has released the new summer banger ‘Emotional’ featuring Kranium and WSTRN (Louis Rei). Paying hommage to her Caribbean roots, the sultry, yet energetic track is set to have you feeling a little bit emotional this summer. The single is a follow up to the rising stars track ‘Body’ as well as her debut EP ‘My Head’s A Mess’. On the song Kamille says…
“Emotional is such an important record for me because it represents my Caribbean heritage, it’s a piece of who I am. I had so much fun making this song with my friends – Shakka, Ghosted, and my boy ADP on the mix. I’m so honoured to have Kranium, my fellow Jamaican, as well as Louis from WSTRN feature on it. In three words, Emotional is playful, sexual, and fun…it’s about that point when the desire two people have for each other can get too much to handle…”
