Waking up with puffy eyes in the morning can be a nightmare. They are a common problem for many women as well as men. They can be caused from hormonal changes in the body, hangovers, lack of sleep and stress.
Here are a few things you can do to de-puff your eyes!
Cold spoons is a quick and simply remedy, place two spoons into the fridge for around 15 minutes. Close your eyes and place the spoons over your eyelids, it will feel cold at first but hold the spoons on until they become warm. This will help tighten up your skin around your eyes as well as reduce swelling and relax the blood vessels.
Tea bags can help sooth puffy and tired eyes. They contain anti-irritant properties which not only helps reduce swelling but they can reduce redness and inflammation. You can either use green tea bags or black tea bags. Place two used tea bags into the fridge for around 3o minutes then place the tea bags onto your closed eyelids for around 15 minutes.
Cucumber is a well-known way of making your eyes better. The enzymes and astringent properties in cucumbers help reduce inflammation and help tighten the skin. Cut up some slices of cucumber and place onto closed eyelids for however long you need.
