Hair Masks You Need To Try

Advertisements

As we head into 2018 good skin and hair care is one of my top priorities, I love to have healthy skin and hair that is strong and locked full of moisture. I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite hair masks.

Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Ease
Lately, my hair has been more static than usual and has more frizz than normal, when this occurs I love to use this hair mask from LUSH. It has red henna infusion, lightly coating the hair cuticle without affecting the colour and giving your hair lustre and vibrancy, extra virgin coconut and hydrating hemp oils to condition and moisturise hair from root to tip. This also includes organic jojoba, brazil nut and wheatgerm oils to tame hair.

Apply to dry hair and leave on for 20 minutes, allowing it to soak into the hair and really take effect, then rinse out and shampoo and condition as normal.

H’suan Wen Hna
Another mask from LUSH, to help replenish the roots and strengthen your hair ends, after using this hair mask my hair feels soft and silky.

I like to really massage this mask into my scalp to feel the full effect as well as noticing my hair is less likely to tangle when washing and brushing afterwards.

Ouai
I have recently discovered the brand Ouai, at first I am always dubious at trying to products just because of bad experiences in the past, however I wasn’t disappointed with this product at all.

It’s a lightweight repairing mask which comes in sachets making them easy to store away when travelling or simply to shove in your bag. This mask helps to create a shield from further damage to your hair, and as someone who shoves a lot of heat on theirs…it’s a godsend.  Really apply this mask to your hair making sure you get every strand, leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse.

Pantene Pro-V Overnight Miracle Repair Serum

Now if I know I am washing my hair the next day I love to put an overnight hair mask on, but I don’t like to have anything to heavy as I feel it weighs me down and can make my hair look greasy even though it’s been washed.

My friend bought me this back from the States, and it’s become of my go to overnight masks just because of the lightweight formula, it doesn’t feel like I’ve put anything in my hair and I can sleep with ease knowing each strand of my hair is locked in moisture and slowly repairing throughout the night.
