Erborian BB Crème Review

Tired of wearing heavy, pore-clogging foundation every day? Wanting something lightweight which provides coverage whilst looking after your skin? If yes, then I highly recommend giving Erborian BB Crème a try in your daily makeup routine. Erborian is a Korean-French hybrid skincare brand. I tried out the BB Crème Nude and the Pink Perfect Crème, which is a primer.

The BB Crème Nude is a 5-in-1 formulation which aims to:

  1. Even out and mattify the complexion
  2. Moisturise and “plump” the skin
  3. Refine skin’s texture
  4. Reduce the appearance of blemishes.
  5. Give a non-oily, velvety finish. Your skin is visibly softer, smooth and beautiful with a silky feel, just like “baby skin”.

When applying the BB crème it is instantly noticeable that this product is extremely lightweight and easy to apply. Only a small amount of the product is required to cover the surface of the face. The crème acts as a tinted moisturiser, it leaves a smoother finish to the face, adding colour and coverage without being heavy. I’d most definitely agree that the product lives up to its ‘5-in-1’ title, I didn’t need any other product on my face to complete my look.

BB Crème is so useful for those who do not want to wear foundation every day, for those who simply want a light and natural finish. The BB Crème Nude from Erborian retails at £36.00 for 45ml and £15.00 for a 15ml. The product goes a long way, only a small amount is needed so you 100% get your money’s worth!

The second product I tried was the Pink Perfect Crème, which is a 4-in-1 ‘wonder’ product according to Erborian. The 4-in-1 aims to:

  1. Provide an instant “blur” by giving a soft-focus looking effect to the skin
  2. Visibly minimise the appearance of pores
  3. Help enhance the appearance of your skin tone with a pearly glow
  4. Prepare your skin for makeup, acting as a primer.

After using the primer I found that my skin was noticeably smoother, my pores appeared reduced and I had a pink tint to my skin which made my complexion seem more radiant and healthy. I always use a primer in my makeup routine and this product from Erborian has got to be one of the best ones I’ve tried. It wasn’t tacky in texture or thick which most primers can be, it was smooth and silky. The Pink Perfect Crème worked perfectly with the BB Crème, my skin looked soft and I had a natural glow from the primer, I didn’t feel like I was wearing anything on my skin for the entirety of the day.

The Pink Perfect Crème again retails at £36.00 for 45ml and £15.00 for 15ml. Similarly to the BB Crème, a tiny amount of product is actually needed, so definitely give them a try!
