2017 Movie Bucket List

  1. Last year was a great year for films. It had the long awaited Star Wars: Rogue One, the hyped Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the feel-good La La Land and the hilarious Deadpool. It might be a difficult year to top. So can 2017 do it? What films could be better than last year’s? Here is your 2017 Movie Bucket List.

  1. Beauty and the Beast- March 16, 2017

A children’s classic united with modern film making. Beauty and the Beast has been enthused about since Emma Watson announced her role in it. The well-known fairy-tale is bound to warm audiences’ hearts and have them believing in true love again. With all the original songs, it’s sure to get the whole family singing and dancing.

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2- May 5, 2017

One of many super hero films being released this year. The Marvel sequel features the original A-list cast, and is expected to have as many laugh-out-loud moments as the first film. With not much being revealed about the plot, audiences are wildly anticipating what could unfold in the upcoming film.

  1. Dunkirk- July 21, 2017

Christopher Nolan’s epic Second World War film, based on a daring plan to rescue 300,000 Allied troops, is fast becoming one of the most anticipated films of 2017. With a hotly discussed appearance from Harry Styles, as well as roles from Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and many others, Nolan’s Dunkirk, is high on many film critics’ list of films to see this year.

After the success of Kingsman: The Secret Service, the British spy comedy was quickly demanded a sequel. This time Eggsy and Merlin team up with their American counterparts, in what is sure to be a hilarious adventure.

After the excitement of Rogue One in 2016, it would be foolish to not give this next piece of the franchise a viewing. Staring recognisable Star Wars faces, the next chapter has fan theories popping up all over the internet.
